the highest level of volleyball at bvc for juniors and seniors

The BVC Bears are the competitive teams of Brisbane Volleyball Club who compete in State level competitions throughout the year. Our Premier Grade teams compete at the highest levels in Queensland, where players have the opportunity to then be selected for the Queensland Pirates representative teams to compete in the Australian Volleyball League.
PVL
The Premier Volleyball League is the highest available level of weekly Volleyball in Queensland. Bears have both Adult and Junior divisions available.
TRIALS
Team trials are usually held at the beginning of each year with the competitive season finishing in September. Follow our Instagram account to stay in the loop.

About the Season

PVL SEASONS RUN FROM APRIL THROUGH SEPTEMBER

Trials for each season are held near the beginning of the year with preseason training starting shortly after. Weekly matches begin in April with Juniors playing on Friday evenings and Seniors on Sunday.

Our teams train twice a week for maximum touches and team chemistry. Our coach are dedicated to progressing the skill of players and further developing their knowledge of the game.

COUNTRY CHAMPS

Country Champs is an annual two-day tournament run by Volleyball Queensland in Regional Queensland. This is an opportunity for our players to compete against clubs from all over Queensland.

Senior State Champs is a competition run annually by Volleyball Queensland on the Gold Coast. It offers a variety of divisions and allows our club teams to compete for the VQ State Championship and the VQ President's Shield.

Junior State Champs provides for a mid-season opportunity for our youth PVL teams to compete against other clubs from around Queensland. This tournament run by Volleyball Queensland is usually held on the Gold Coast.
