About Casual Training
Brisbane Volleyball Club runs weekly training sessions for players who want to improve their game, or those who want to play regularly but cannot commit to a season. Players can come along from week to week as it suits - the 'casual' nature means there is not commitment!
Casual training sessions are run by experienced coaches who also participate in the sessions, creating a very relaxed and welcoming environment. Generally each session will start with skills and drills, and involve a lot of game-play.
All levels are welcome, but we do ask that players have some previous Volleyball experience before joining in. If you are quite new to the game and unsure if this is right for you, just send us an email and we can help direct you to the best session to suit your experience.
These sessions are targeted for Adult players. For specific Junior training options, please see our Junior Training Squad page. We do allow junior players to join in these sessions though, particularly those who are attending with their parents, and often when Junior training programs are on break for holidays.
When and Where
We aim to run weekly sessions, but sometimes this varies based on venue availability and other factors. We also run additional sessions in between Social League seasons.
We recommend checking our Calendar regularly for up to date venues, dates and times.
How to Join
Our casual training sessions are easy to join. You just turn up to a session and introduce yourself! There is no commitment to join, just come along as you please, and you only pay for the weeks you attend.
$11 per person, per session (VQ Members)
$22 per person, per session (non VQ Members)
All payments by EFTPOS only
